Start boiling water in a steamer.
Crack eggs in a bowl and mix.
Add 2 cups of hot water to the eggs and mix.
Add 1 tablespoon of oil and mix.
Pour eggs into a steam friendly serving dish.
Place the serving dish into steamer on medium heat.
Cover the eggs with a plate to prevent your eggs from boiling over.
Boil for 15 minutes. If it's a smaller proportion, boil for 10 minutes.
Add green onions and boil for 1 more minute.
Take it out of the steamer and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
